MARCUS ELLIS Wine Companion An orangey pink, this takes a savoury route, skirting the easy charm that so defines much of modern rosé. That’s a good thing. Wines like this, and there is thankfully a strong cohort of makers eschewing an assembly-line approach, are why the category is so strong right now. Orange oil, goji berry, yellow plum, fennel seed, a pumice/concrete mineral quality; properly dry but not aridly so, pithy, refreshing, though it’s more about the table than sun-soaked languor. 93 Points Published May 2025
